I talk about repetitive stress injuries from knitting and other activities. Is it inevitable? I share your advice and how I’m managing it, plus share projects like Dirty Lace and my plaid sweater.
Don’t you love it when a plan comes together? Me too and though some haven’t worked out lately, this one did. I ordered a recycled leather bag/ knitting bag from…
I took a break from reading Knitting Without Tears, for the Canary Knits Knitting Book Read-a-Long, until I put at least one thing I learned into practice. That thing was learning to knit…

oooh you're making paulie!! how did i miss that? that sweater is on my list too!! 🙂 i love the color combination you're making it in.

hmmm i just can't decide which sweater i want to knit first, caramel or paulie. since it would be my first sweater-project, i'm thinking caramel… no button holes and the construction looks easier. but paulie is sooo cute.
I see what you mean, Severien. Caramel is easier to knit w/o buttonholes and if you don't carry the CC yarn along the side, but Paulie is still really straight forward. I think I'd go for the one I can envision myself feeling most excited to say, " This is my first sweater ever! " about. It's kind of sentimental. I think mine was Big Sack Sweater, and I am still so proud of it and wear it because it's a classic design.
