Being the Boss in Hobo Gloves
If you are one of the few people who occasionally check in on my blog, you may have noticed I’ve been out for most of the summer. I’ve been reading, knitting, visiting relatives, and playing outside with my son. I finished spiffing up my schwinn, so we ride to the park or to my dad’s or to a cinder track to run. I’ve had so many thoughts I’d like to share and probably would have posted all through the summer were I not so far behind in sifting through my vacation photos and posting my 365’s (we’ve been on two trips and I have yet to post on them.) I’ve wanted to post about them. But, I was just enjoying my blogging break too much.
It came down to this: either I’m the boss of this site and that photo project…or they are the boss of me. So, anyway, I’m boss.
I have, however, been keeping up with my 365 project, though it’s just all in my hard drive for now. So, let me post about my latest quick knit: The Bungled Mitts. They are cute, scruffy, and will be perfect for riding around town in this winter. Of course I am sweating and in shorts here, but you get the idea.
These were fun, easy, and took less than a half a ball of each color of yarn. They must be a success because now both of my kids want some variation of the “hobo gloves.”
Those are PERFECT! I'm jealous. 🙂
Thank you, Beth. It was a fool proof pattern.
