OK, Now I Can Say Goodbye

I was off by a few days with my 365 Project, since I started on January 5th of last year.  So, now that everyone’s moved on- I can finally say goodbye to a year in pictures of me.

 (day 363)
 (day 364)

(day 365)

I missed several days of photos, but, that really doesn’t bother me because I stuck with it for a whole year: enough time to make photography a habit again, to get to know what I like, and to quit hating it more than once.

Now, I’m ready for another not-so-me-365.   Just a picture of something, or nothing,  everyday.  I have a feeling this one will be much easier and, since I won’t be the subject, I can completely let myself go.   What’s not to like?

  1. just thought you should know – seeing your photos over the year has inspired me to do a self-portrait 365! hopefully mine will turn out just as awesome as yours did! happy new year!! 🙂

  2. Erika, I read your post on 365 and totally agree. I'm afraid I'll either quit being motivated to take pictures or will lose the awareness of how we spend our time without it. Is this addiction?

Jennifer, I'm so pleased to hear that you've enjoyed my photostream and will be documenting yourself now. Good luck! I can't wait to see what develops.

  3. Congratulations! I can't even imagine taking sp for a year, you are amazing! I have enjoyed following you and can't wait to see what else you come up with 🙂

  4. Congratulations, Michelle! Job well done! I admire you for taking on this project; 365 was hard enough choosing any subject I wish. I can't imagine doing it all of me. But you did an awesome job. This year's 365 should be fun and a little more relaxing for you.

  5. Thanks Gail! I missed several days- mostly when I had migraines, but I still documented the year. I don't know how you took one every day- but that's awesome. Maybe this year I will.

  6. Congratulations! what an accomplishment. I think I actually became aware of your flickr page when were both posting to the shutter sisters 365 this time last year. Even though mine were not self-portraits, I just couldn't do it anymore.
I am so glad to have come across your stream and blog, I look forward to what ever you attempt next.

  7. Thank you Candace, I'd noticed you dropped 365 a while back, but was just glad you continued to add to your stream. If I worked full time I would've had to stop. There are only so many minutes in a day.
You and all the other Shutter Sisters are a constant inspiration to me.
